Milford Farm is located in the Boonah region, the heart of South East Queensland’s beautiful Scenic Rim. An easy drive one hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the Boonah region is perfect for a day trip, weekend getaway or an even longer stay.

With stunning mountain and country scenery, a large range of accommodation, country pubs, food outlets, wineries, artwork, bushwalking trails, national parks, along with access to plenty of horse riding trails, Milford Farm is the ideal place to agist your horse for either a short or long term stay.

Milford Farm has been owned and operated by Veterinary Surgeon Harry Wever for several years but recently change ownership. New owners, Tim and Jen Hamilton, are pleased that Harry is staying on with the property and will continue to offer his onsite Veterinary care.

Tim and Jen have owned several Thoroughbred horses over the years, with their favourite girl Trois Choix (Chooks) retiring to Milford Farm to begin a breeding career.

We offer a range of services suited to both personal and professional horse owners and trainers, from simple horse agistment, to breaking and training facilities.

TIM HAMILTON

OWNER OF MILFORD FARM

Tim spent his early years on farms, looking after the various livestock, and although he left farming behind, he has always had a passion for animals and in particular horses. He has owned a number of race horses, and one of the driving forces behind buying Milford Farm, was to have somewhere for his horses to spell and retire to, and also somewhere his kids could grow to share his passion of horses.

HARRY WEVER

ON-SITE VETERINARIAN

Dr Harry Wever has been a vet for over 40 years and has worked at practices in both Australia and the UK.

With Harry living on-site you know that your horses will have the best of care always close at hand.

JODIE TURGEON

CARETAKER

Jodie was born and bred in the Horse Industry, her parents are successful thoroughbred trainers and introduced Jodie to the love of horses from a young age. Jodie has worked in several stables across the country including for Brisbane Trainer Brian Wakefield. Jodie is an experienced track rider, breaker and pre trainer and will ensure your horses have the best of care and education.
